Review on πŸ”§ High-Performance Chain Breaker and Riveting Tool - Performance Tool W89100 by James Hess

Revainrating 2 out of 5

would not recommend

as a circuit breaker, it's 3 out of 5. It's easy to use, the instructions aren't that bad. but after pressing out only 4 pins, the pressing pin at the tip started to deform. Luckily they have multiple sizes of push pins so you can have a spare if/when it breaks. as a chain riveter this is 0 out of 5 points. When trying to press the first rivet of a DID 525 chain, the rivet head deformed and broke off. The rivet didn't stick out at all. The tool head absorbed all the force and failed. In this case there is only one riveting press, so I have to look for a special, high-quality riveting press. Bottom line: this is a pass unless you just want to break the chains (or the tool itself).
