I have installed many lights in my life. My wife recently bought a pair of these. They are not designed for easy installation. The wires are too short. To install it, you need to attach the lamp rod to the nut with a lock washer. However, it is not possible to tighten this nut because when you do the wiring and you are ready to fix the lamp, it will be embedded in the wall. It must be supplied with a threaded mounting plate. I had to do some pretty crazy tricks to get this thing right and I'm not very happy with the durability of this setup.
