Review on BESTEK 500W Power Inverter, 12V DC to 110V AC Converter with 4.8A Dual USB Car Charger, ETL Listed (Blue) by Awiwi Swift

This is an inverter that allows you to power small loads (up to 500W) from a car battery. The device measures 6 x 4 x 2 inches and weighs 1.6 pounds. One end has 2 fuses and 2 DC ports (red and black). At the other end are 2 North American 3-pin 110V output sockets and 2 USB sockets and a switch. Also included is a pair of 22 inch clip-on cables, red and black, for connecting to the car battery. And a 24 inch cable that can be plugged into your car's 12V socket, along with 2 spare fuses and an English paper manual. The inverter is designed for an input voltage of 11-15VDC and an output voltage of 115VAC 60Hz with a maximum load of 500W. The product was made in China. I find this inverter very handy for hiking. This allows us to use small electrical devices such as electric dental floss (on the dentist's orders!) and flashlights while camping. It is also very convenient to have USB charging ports on the inverter. I don't know how well this inverter performs over long periods of use, but on short hikes it makes the difference between rough and comfortable. All in all, this is the go-to inverter if you just need to turn on some lights or charge your laptop, and it comes with all the cables you need to get connected.
