Review on Sony SP600N Wireless Noise Cancelling Sports Earbuds, Black (WI-SP600N/B) by Carla Williams

Maybe not the best product. I'm surprised by the great reviews. Maybe people don't really use the product outside?

I really want to leave such wonderful feedback. To date there are some issues and I wonder if Sony actually tested this product. I'll start with the cons because it's probably easier to think about what I got wrong. Cons * When on calls, the headphones seem to switch to what sounds like ambient mode. Because of this, any noise around you cuts off your voice and the person speaking to you cannot hear you well. It only comes from road noise when driving. It would be great if I could just turn off all noise canceling features, but that doesn't seem like an option when making calls. I prefer to make calls with my cheap headphones. * While cycling, the only mode that works for hearing is noise cancellation off. That's because in noise-cancelling mode, it amplifies the wind noise around me. It's worse in ambient noise mode. It doesn't bother me, but it would be really nice if there was an option to reduce wind noise. Thus, this option is missing and the maximum sound is not as good as my cheap headphones (get it yourself).* The control box between the headphones is heavy and causes the headphones to be pulled towards the left ear and must be adjusted accordingly so that the head rotation is not is working. Do not pull out the right earpiece. A bit frustrating but I like the long battery life so I'll live with that. Pros: * Good sound quality and good sound when sitting or exercising indoors where there is no strong wind or very loud noise. Mostly good headphones (not sure about the noise canceling as there isn't much of a difference and I think YouTube ads are a joke compared to the real world. Sorry this is the pros section). * I like the battery life. * I love Sony products. and really wanted it to be a great product. So let's summarize. Hopefully Sony will come up with some software fixes to make calls through headphones, albeit not in complete silence. It is also possible to make the product work with wind noise. I still use the product every day except when they call me :-(.

Cons
