I have a Gypsy Vanner draft horse that takes off his fly mask daily. It was on and Seamus didn't take it off and he was in it for almost a week. He's like Houdini. I find him (Sheamus, my horse) running naked in the field every day, without halter and fly mask, running naked, and I have to hunt for his halter and fly mask in the fields daily. I can't hold back anything from him, he hates everything about him. Until then! I recommend this, it fits well and is soft and doesn't let it overheat. I love it for him!
