Good brand of shoes

I ordered 13 4E because the orthopedist told me the 14 3E I wear is too long. I think I'm 13 1/2 because I ordered this pair and ended up being too short and too tight. I think the problem is that my orthotics take up too much space. I had to send this pair back. I have worn New Balance for many years.
