First off, I'm far from a snob, but I have no idea how to call it "soft". I bought this to replace an old Ikea duvet cover that was probably $25 and I was shocked at how much worse this duvet cover was than the old cheap one. As a result, the Ikea cover really feels like the finest silk. Second, I had a fairly significant defect that surprised me that it didn't pass quality control (if this company has such a thing). It looked like something had made a hole in the fabric while weaving, and then a few loose threads were sewn back into the fabric. I don't like giving things back like this, but this time I have no doubt!
