Fastening system from below. Saddle bolts look like simple top mount bolts but are a bit more complex. The product description on the website says it comes with all the necessary tools, but that's not the case. All parts of the toilet seat are included, but the user will need a wrench or pliers to install the toilet seat so that it does not rotate. A medium-sized screwdriver is optional, but I found it useful. Read the installation instructions carefully. • Open the hinge covers of the toilet seat. • Turn the toilet seat upside down. • Take the seat screws, turn them over and firmly push the head of the screw into the underside of the hinge until it snaps and falls out when the seat is rotated right side up. • Turn the seat right side up. Tightly closing the swivel caps should lock the seat screw in place, but I found it useful to leave the swivel caps open for a while so I could use a screwdriver to connect the upper bracket to the lower screw assembly socket first. • Install the toilet seat on the toilet by inserting the seat screws into the screw holes in the toilet. • Begin hand-tightening the lower bolt-on bushings of the bolt. Once they are partially attached to the screw, I found it useful to use a screwdriver to tighten the screw assembly from the top rather than fully tightening it from the bottom. If necessary, adjust the position of the toilet seat in this step • After tightening everything as firmly as possible, close the hinge covers firmly so that they click into place and lock the screw assembly at the bottom with a wrench or pliers. • Clamp a wrench or pliers to the bottom of the bolt assembly's lower bushing (see instructions). Tighten this screw sleeve until the lower part snaps off. Most people couldn't do it by hand, but they would need a wrench or pliers to apply enough torque. • The toilet seat installation should now be complete.
