Review on 🏷️ Memorex Label Maker Starter Kit - Limited Edition and Rarer to Find by Stephen Cernatescu

I ordered this as a starting point for labeling home video and picture CDs. The kit included a floppy disk that I installed into a computer with a program for creating and printing labels. No problem. I went through the process of calibrating the printer and ran into the same problem that others have mentioned: the label looks perfect in preview and on plain paper, but when printed on labels it was far from it. I tried to calibrate the printer again, thinking I did or didn't do something. I never managed to print the labels correctly. I researched online and found that this is a common problem with the Memorex program and people have suggested another program from NEATO. The program is actually on mediaface.com and you can use the site for free when you buy NEATO brand labels. This program works amazingly. The labels print exactly as they appear on the page and I've never had to calibrate my printer (they offer this, but it's not necessary). They don't have as many backgrounds as the Memorex program, but what's the point if they never print properly anyway. Also, you obviously need internet access to use mediaface.com, but that's only a downfall if you can call it a downfall. I've been using this program for a long time and the site still works like the first time. I recommend this site to anyone who needs to make labels. Do not try to put this product on the label. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because the label applicator that comes with this set works great and has a small selection of labels at such a good price ($4 when I bought it ).
