Review on 📷 Kodak Easyshare M853 Red - 8.2MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom: A Smart Choice for Stunning Photos by Brian Samuel

After teaching my entire family of over 40 how to use their own digital cameras, I hoped one day to have a camera that didn't need any explanation or technical support. I was dealing with poorly designed button surfaces and illogical menu structures, so I was prepared for the worst but hoping for the best. When I got this camera for Christmas, I was pleasantly surprised at how logical and simple everything is. To view your photos, click the browse button. To change the flash settings, press the flash button and it will cycle through the options. The symbols are easy to understand rather than a confusing array of palm trees and figures. Aside from the camera itself, I really liked the included Kodak EasyShare software. I usually avoid installing software that comes with a product, especially if it's supposed to be "idiot proof", as it usually infiltrates every folder and registry key on your computer. But in the case of the EasyShare software, it's definitely worth installing. It easily transfers images from your camera to your computer, simplifies point-and-click caption creation, and instantly uploads images to an online gallery (after you create a free account, of course). The gallery is a great bonus; It's like Flicker or any other online album site, but the Kodak gallery is linked to your software so you can keep it up to date at the touch of a button. Also, as a bonus, you get 20 free 4x6 prints when you create a gallery account (at least as of the date of this review). Alright, back to the camera. Image quality seems very high, although I don't know if 8.2 megapixels actually work much better than 4-5 megapixels. I don't have shots of these shots alongside lower quality photos, but this camera is priced right anyway, so you'll also be able to use all the megapixels you can stomach. There's not much room on the internal storage for pictures taken at 8.2 megapixels, but luckily you can change the camera settings and lower the quality of your shots (again not too noticeable) to make room for 40+ shots. Ideally, of course, you should have a memory card (for example this: Kingston 2GB Secure Digital Memory Card (SD/2GB, Retail Package); my 2GB card can store over 1700 high-quality images on the camera. I don't have a video with it yet Camera rotated but the process seems simple enough Overall this is an ideal camera for those who may not be tech savvy but also want a good product and I don't see it as a problem for those who actually know what They do but don't want the hassle. The camera is great, the software is great and I'm very happy with the overall package. Highly recommend!
