This heater will burn anything it stands on.
I would love this heater except it overheats the surface directly in front of it. I have it on my ceramic tile kitchen counter and the tiles were so hot right in front of the heater that I was afraid the tiles would crack. It didn't happen but I would never put this heater on a wooden surface as it would ruin the surface and the wood. I have many heaters and none of them do this. I was going to buy a second one but won't due to surface overheating.
