This product is great if you have an old Jabsco MSD (head) and don't know which repair kit to choose. It installs quickly and easily, although none of the documents in the box tell you how. (It's just a matter of installing a new head.) Go to their website and watch the video. It comes with a "joker" valve (one review says there isn't one) but for some reason only a mounting screw. (I don't know why you need 4, but since the stainless steel turns to plastic your old 4 will work just fine.) Big surprise (no) - this part is $30 more at your local boat parts store. I was afraid. I made sure the MSD was flushed with clean (sea) water and damn it, the storage tank was emptied. Maybe 1/2 cup of water leaked from the supply hoses. I'm not sure these Jabsco heads will ever work well, but if you're dealing with one, this is a pretty painless method. Now my head is the latest model!
