Review on πŸ”’ Enhance Security with LOHAS Equivalent LED Daylight Bulb by Amy Cook

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Edited on 02/18/2021: Do not trust a statement that will never be replaced! These don't last!

Love these bulbs. I live in rural Maine and there are no streetlights in my driveway. They appear at dusk and turn off perfectly during the day. I used to have a similar CFL but no Dusk Till Dawn feature. They use less power than CFLs and shine brighter, and during our cold Maine winters, CFLs needed to be heated if that's possible here, and they were dim and got brighter as they warmed up. These LED bulbs turn on instantly at full brightness and do not heat up. I have one of these at each entrance and in the dark of night they light up my front, side and back yard with a nice bright white light. I run them every day and they only use 36 watts. Now I have a much safer garden. Edited 2/18/2021: I don't recommend them after he died and started blinking about a year later. It can't be that the 30,000 hours last, that's not going to happen. The quality is poor at best. I won't buy this again. Garbage! Revised February 26, 2021: I have replaced these bulbs with GE models which are also 100W equivalent, produce 1600 lumens and are noticeably brighter by about a third or more. GE also consumes 12 watts, as does this lamp. The GE's twilight feature is much more sensitive to ambient light and turns off the bulb sooner when the sun comes up. The GE sensor points directly away from the lamp and is visible, allowing you to actually point the sensor for better ambient light detection.
