There is a big difference between premium and normal (blue) te-energy batteries! At best, the blue ones last about 2/3 longer than the premium ones! D cell batteries lasted more than 6 weeks, 8 batteries in flashlight with flashlight low! I did this test in my garage and left the light on, of course I forgot to test it a few times as well but got back to it and it still worked, after 5 weeks there was a significant difference in the projected light but still burned! So I left the flashlight on for 6 weeks without turning it off once and they were still chugging! D cells take about 24 hours to charge and get quite hot when charging, the extra airflow while charging is good too, I burned the plastic case on one for leaving the cover over the charger now when I use these nasty ones Charging guys, I leave the lid open and a small fan blows on it, but it's worth having a powerful and long-lasting battery at hand! The AA and AAA batteries last 2x longer than the blue batteries in the Xbox controller (AA) and my Beach headset (AAA). I have both and I use both because I have them, but when I'm away from my charger for a while (like camping) I only use premium white batteries, they're fantastic!
