In the beginning it was a nice little quiet fan. The low settings weren't particularly low, but they were pretty quiet. .and then it wasn't. It's currently very noisy and barely moving any air, but then it suddenly quiets down and starts blowing out a ton of air about every 20 minutes or so, then gets loud and quiet again about 30 seconds later. Probably a balance issue but for $20 it's not worth the hassle of shipping it back so I just got another fan. I could actually do a second round with it, but even when it worked well, the low end wasn't deep enough for me. I'm not saying avoid it, maybe I just have a bad fan, there will always be 1-5% of items that just fail the first year, and maybe I'm just unlucky. It's light, it moves a lot of air with two adjustments on a knob on the back, and the angle adjustment works pretty well, although it tends to loosen and then tilt every few days and you'll have to re-tighten it.
