Accurate when used in parallel and crumpled to

I machined and sanded a 6 inch parallel and used #8-32 nuts and bolts to make it height adjustable. From the packaging, what's holding the bottle actually protrudes slightly from the body. For the price you get an accurate ampoule but you have to mount it on something very flat and make it adjustable. Once you do that, you'll reach levels comparable to those that cost hundreds of dollars!
