Review on Kidde 21026065 Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm: Voice Warning for Ultimate Safety by Chris Scalia

We live full time in a 2019 5 wheeler motorhome. He came up with this model and one night we woke up and said it was on fire. (Very scary in the van, btw.) Since there was no fire, we took it off and put it in our car so we could sleep 'til the end. Night. It was still squeaking in the morning - in the truck! We replaced it with this one in October 2019. It happened again! We were woken up again in the middle of the night to be told if there was a fire but there was none. (This time a technician on wheels came by and checked it out just to be sure.) Again we had to put it out in the car because we couldn't get him to stop screaming! This one didn't go away for 5 days and my husband hit it with a hammer! So don't rush this model too much for our use.
