Instructions say it comes unlocked, mine arrived locked, had to use the key to get in first. The key is very rough and tight, the opening handle is similar, poorly assembled. I installed the batteries and followed the instructions to install the combo. Closed and locked, combination entered, no green light, just a short beep and amber flash. I assumed this was an error signal (the manual doesn't say so). Opened by hand again, removed batteries, put batteries back in, reprogrammed, same result, repeated 3 times. It just doesn't work as advertised. The fact that it was shipped locked and the lock is "dirty" leads me to suspect this is a returned and known defective item which they are trying to sell to the unsuspecting. Will no longer use this provider.
