High-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

Radiator gammaxx 300. Temperature at full load for 80 degrees. The radiator itself is heated clearly not at 80 degrees. As if the problem is with heat transfer under high load from the crystal to the package. For myself, I concluded that if there is no long-term 100% load, then you can leave everything as it is. If for several hours the computer loads the percentage by 100% (in my case, the rendering of visualizations), then you can lower the temperature using one of the options: 1. Disable turbo boost (see photo) Stable -10% performance, but the temperature drops in idle and under load. 2. Switch to eco mode (one photo with switching to this mode, and the second with the settings that it sets. In fact, the power limit is 60W) Decrease in performance by 10% only in case of high loads, but the temperature in idle is normal, reduced only under load. 3. Play around with the voltage and frequency of the processor. I ran at 1V 3.8GHz and 1.05V 4.0GHz, temperatures 55-60g under load. The test was within 15 minutes, so in theory, many hours of testing may not be possible. The temperature drops in all modes.

Pros
  • High speed both for one core and for the processor as a whole.
Cons
  • Processor temperature. The processor is practically not chasing.
