This is the best thing I've bought for my beautiful used Sierra. When I bought the truck there was styrofoam tape (a hardware store thing) between the tailgate and the platform to try to keep it steady. But nothing compares to what they do. It's like a factory. No more noise when hitting potholes on rough roads. Just remember that GM design isn't good for them if you use your truck for work. You can easily slip when you pull tools, chains or something else out of bed.
