This easel appears to be well made and the size is as described. However, I'm not sure if that's really a good thing. You cannot put a book or magazine on it because there is nothing to keep the pages open. You can only raise it 45-50 degrees, so painting with acrylic or oil paints is difficult - you have to stand over it and look down, not in front of it. For drawing or watercoloring, it's probably easier to just hold the paper because of the small size. I'm sure there are good uses for it, but I just didn't think of it.
