Soft and comfortable in weight but not the traditional extra thick comforter I'm used to. I like it very much and it wraps itself wonderfully around me. I would like a dressing gown made of this material. Washed cold/gentle, tumble dried medium/low. I have not used a softer fabric or dryer, they tend to leave a greasy feel on such fabrics. It came out just as smoothly as it came in. However, is it worth more than $100? In my opinion no. The price for it is absurd for what it is. I really like this comforter, but I wouldn't spend that much money on something that I'm not entirely sure will last more than a dozen washes before losing its softness. Maybe if they drop to the high $50s. It's a throw, not a blanket, just not enough material to justify the cost. It is a blend of polyamide and nylon, not silk or cashmere.
