This is a great pair of sock-feel hiking shoes with a soft cushioned base on the sole. The outsole has the right degree of flex, so that it offers enough support even when walking comfortably on level ground without later foot pain. Thanks to the breathable fabric, no problem with sweat or cold. The color corresponds to the screen display when ordering. The fabric is soft and stretches as it slides down or off the leg. The knit collar keeps them in place without slipping, pinching, or buckling, and the airflow is great enough that my feet don't sweat or get hot. The base inside is smooth finished with no annoying seams on the sides that can chafe my feet. Wearing these shoes is like barefoot, but you have a comfortable, squishy fabric under the sole. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well they fit and how comfortable they feel that I bought a second pair for my daughter. At this price, it's like getting two pairs for the price of one at the mall or shoe store.
