It's hard to rate comfort that high when you're dealing with a relatively inexpensive waffle that doesn't itch and wears very well. It doesn't have to be super warm or super light, but it doesn't have to be. Ideal after a shower and will become more absorbent as the fabric wears in although not as absorbent as much more expensive, softer garments. If you're willing to pay two to four times as much for a nicer robe, I bet you'll really like it; For my basic needs I was looking at a very reasonable price.
