After trying several solvent based glues from Barge et al as well as several other water based glues I finally came across this glue and it really is what I was looking for in leather glue! It's a bit thicker than other water-based cements and has a long setting time when you're busy with other jobs, but it definitely sticks when you put one piece on top of the other! It's down and DONE! I'm impressed with the edge hold of this cement compared to some others which seem to loosen up as you finish the edges of your project by buffing and buffing. If I was in a real hurry to do one of my own jobs, such as tool kits, I wouldn't hesitate to rely on gluing instead of gluing and sewing for my own use! The bonds with this cement are all the stronger. Triple A rating in all respects!
