I recently finished insulating my garage and needed a way to keep warm during the winter months as my air conditioner doesn't go in the garage. The simple solution was to use a small heater when needed. When I plan to work in the garage, I just turn on the heater for an hour to give it enough time to get the room temperature up to a comfortable 21 degrees. This mission is accomplished with this device. The airflow is advertised as hot for the first three seconds after it is turned on. That is not exaggerated, not only warm, but really hot air blew very quickly. However, don't expect the coils to turn bright red as shown in the picture. However, do not touch it with your fingers. It's just common sense. The design is very modern and stylish. The buttons on top are clear and easy to use. It's also good to have a fan-only mode. When the temperature is comfortable, I can easily switch to fan mode with the push of a button and enjoy the warm air circulation in the garage. A ceiling fan helps too, but that's a bonus on my part. A timer button is also welcome. My other heater has two knobs (one for heat/fan and one for temperature). I don't feel safe making him work all night. But I can set it and forget it. I was expecting the automatic rollover shutdown to be something like a sudden power outage. Instead, the device will beep to alert you that the device is no longer upright. The heating function is switched off, but the fan remains on. I was expecting the entire unit to shut down like my other heater, but instead the unit keeps running in fan mode when it tips over. Also, if you decide to turn off the device by pressing the power button, the heating part turns itself off, but it takes a good 10 seconds for the fan to start. No matter how quickly it turns on and starts blowing hot air, it takes much longer to turn off. This ensures proper heat dissipation from the internal heating components, which extends the life of the heater over the long term (compared to a hard shutdown). CONCLUSION - This is not rocket science. This is a space heater. It's a lot smaller than I expected, but might be ok for some people (like a dorm or small apartment). I was pleasantly surprised that this little guy could raise the temperature in my two car garage so quickly. I have another (larger) heater to compare and got pretty much the same results after an hour of use. In general, I am satisfied with the speed of switching on and the ability to switch off using the timer button. The beep indicator is a good beep to alert you that something has gone wrong. I like the design, very clean and suitable for professional spaces. It's easy on the eyes and quiet too. Neat and gets the job done.
