My husband was having trouble finding a sock with enough wool to actually keep his feet warm this winter, but these are PERFECT! Enough spandex to go on/off easily, and not too thick, so they fit his shoes. Just the right height. 80% wool is definitely warm enough. I was worried about shrinkage, but turned them inside out and washed them on the delicate cycle with other knits and used a bit of fabric softener -- in the dryer on low for just a few minutes and hung to dry. Washed up beautifully, with little "shedding" and no shrinkage. I would definitely recommend these socks.
