The view works until I try to fast forward or rewind on the cable box

When we observed the signal from the cable box from a distance with this device, it worked, however the image flickered every now and then. It was unwanted, but I think I could handle it. The part I couldn't handle was that when I fast forward or rewind on the DVR, the signal went completely out of sync when the audio was out of sync with the video. The only thing I could do at this point was restart the Orei receiver by unplugging it.
