Really not a bad pot set. Great for a starter family or caravan or just someone on a budget. Yes, I would love to cook in a professional cookware set, but my current situation doesn't allow it. They have a laminated base that is very heavy so it stays flat, which is essential for glass-topped ovens. Also works on induction cookers, so must have an iron layer. It's also great for gas burners as it's so heavy it heats up very evenly. The sides are a little thin, but nothing to warp or deform from the heat. The glass lids are well made with a stainless steel rim and stay cool with the handle. The only downside is that all but one of the pots have two rounded identical handles instead of the usual long handle on one side. I'm actually used to it and don't get hot with electricity or induction, but you may need an oven mitt if using a gas stove. For the price they are a good choice.
