. Burn them for that long (usually only 10 minutes but now reduced to 6 or less). We usually light candles (with a white candle in the center) during the 12 days of Christmas, so we try to keep the set long. Candles don't seem to leak. I used disposable foil candle holders to ensure they fit snugly within the wreath and stay completely straight. My candle set has arrived safely. Also, to increase longevity, I recommend trimming a generous wick after a burn or two.
