Review on 🔍 K&N High Performance Engine Air Filter: Premium, Washable Replacement Filter Compatible with 2012-2017 FIAT (500, Abarth) - 33-2487 by Tyler Parker

I have been a long time fan of K&N filters and have never found cleaning and lubricating to be a problem. I think they flow better than stock and when I'm done I just clean and lube them and it's ready to go again. I suppose you could oil them but I've never had that problem and all they need is just a quick spray. For this particular filter of our 2012 Fiat Abarth, the filter could have been a bit bigger. For those familiar with the Abarth model, the filter cap is a bit tricky to put back on and the filter sits upside down in the cap and you put it back in place. The standard filter fits snugly and won't fall out, while the K&N filter does. You have to put your hand inside to hold it when you put the lid back on. I guess I could fix that by placing some foam filler on the rim of the filter box and will try that next time. I would still recommend purchasing this filter despite this annoyance.
