The bristles on this broom are really weird - they leave a lot when sweeping and are at such a strange angle that you have to crouch down a bit to get good ground contact. However, once you make good contact, the bristles practically grip like velcro on the concrete of our sidewalk and porch, they just don't want to move smoothly or evenly across the surface. exactly the same handle so we were able to take part of the TreeLen and attach it to this broom which helped some with the angle and made the broom more efficient. However, the bristles are too soft to be a good outdoor broom. Dust and grass are left behind, leaves and smaller pieces of grass get caught in the bristles. We can end up leaving this to sweep snow off the car in winter as it is soft and light.
