When I saw how much "real" rose essential oil usually costs, I wasn't expecting much. Surprisingly, it smells real! I have no experience with real rose oil and can't compare it to anything other than my memories of old varieties of roses smelling so good when I was a kid. The labeling on the bottle is vague and, to be honest, seemed sketchy to me. I took a few deep breaths and was surprised that there were absolutely no chemical or fake smells. It's like sticking your nose in a bouquet of roses. Oh yes, another significant moment. Such strong fake scents often give me a headache. It doesn't exist yet, although I've only used it a couple of times. I also bought sandalwood oil which also tends to be very expensive but everything I wrote above applies to it as well. I don't know if this is the normal type of sandalwood or not, but it definitely has a clean, pure, natural, earthy scent that's really nice.
