I have an old Brother printer that uses LC101/103 inks. I chose this mascara based on the reviews and I'm glad I did. The ink arrived quickly via Revain Prime. I've read some of the highest reviews and they are absolutely essential to making this ink work for you. Each of the cartridges easily typed. I had no problems with their chips. The only problem I have is the plastic covering the part that gets pierced from behind. My recommendation for future purchases is that you pierce the plastic and rip it completely off yourself, otherwise it could get stuck in your back and interfere with the flow of ink. I used tweezers and scissors to do this. After cleaning the plastic and putting it in place, I ran a good 20-30 sheets of test pages and nozzle cleaners. I wanted to make sure I was printing with new inks and they took a while to go through my old computer. It took so many tries because I didn't learn how to properly remove the plastic and the plastic ended up in my nozzles. It took maybe 1/16 of 103 black pages to print and less color. All in all, now that I know what I'm doing, I'm very happy with the purchase. I have a few more cartridges and they are cheaper than even one black cartridge for everyone. The ink quality is more than adequate for what I print. It's not super intense color, but it prints well on any document that doesn't need to be photo quality.
