No quality control fits computers and accessories

Like many others here I bought this (actually two) it worked for a while and then the monitor ports just stopped working. Sometimes they work intermittently again, but there is clearly a design flaw. Now my MacBook rarely recognizes that a monitor is connected to it at all.
