Only one end will work

I used this wire to bypass the stock amp (mounted behind the passenger side rear fender, accessible after removing the inner panel) on my 1998 Ford. Explorer Sport. The long, flat end of the cable fits perfectly into the head unit wiring harness. The square connector for the speaker output does not match my stock connector, the pin sockets on the stock speaker harness are too small for the square pin connectors on the FD15B. I had to cut the square connectors from the FD15B and the stock speaker harness and connect them one by one. If you have the same problem as me,
