Well-made all-metal body but has a plastic swivel that holds the knives.
I needed a metal bean cutter and apparently the Westmark rotary bean cutter is the only metal one available. It has a well-crafted solid aluminum body, but I was disappointed to find that the rotating part that holds the stainless steel blades is plastic. Given the high price, I wasn't expecting most of it to be plastic. However, it should work well and hold up well, so it's not a deal killer.
