This tank is a good replacement for old tanks where the fluid level is difficult to see. It appears to be the same dimensions and it is now much easier to see the coolant level on my 2001 f150. I think their cost is high but then again this will work with an engine without enough coolant and on older cars your coolant temp sensor can get stuck and now you can know that. In short, when you open the hood to check the oil level, a quick glance will tell you if your fluid level is okay. I drove mine this winter and the fluid was almost empty due to a leak and the tank was so dirty I couldn't see it. money well spent.
