Used as a 3/8 " Chevy Sock
Size 5/16", so I used a razor blade to carefully cut the sock near the hole. He then pulled the sock all the way back and cut off the tubing with a hacksaw with a small blade. Make sure it was clean inside and use a good quality zip tie to secure it to the transmitter's 3/8" hose. I made a small flare with no sharp edges at the opening of the tube. Have done this before and they will stay if you use a good clamp.
