Review on Cloyes 90753S 9 0753S Timing Kit by Leon Johnsson

The Traverse was coded POO17 alongside several others. The timing chain was making a whining noise and upon closer inspection was severely loose. Bought these Cloyes on recommendation. Overall the job was stressful but luckily I had the time, the tools and the warm garage to get it done. The installation was done with engine number one. Your videos were very helpful. I bought it and installed it in September 2018. It's still working great (better than it has for years) over a year later. Since the replacement, fuel economy has increased by nearly 1.5mpg. Make sure you have Felpro gasket kits and a good lube to assemble the motor. Take your time doing it yourself. Save a lot of money and learn something new. Highly recommended.
