This is a really well made silicone bib with a very large pocket to catch drips and crumbs. He has a very broad neck and shoulders, which can be a good or bad thing; that's good because there's more coverage, but unfortunately even the smallest velcro leaves gaps under my son's chin. If the bib sags and doesn't lie flat, he's prone to getting food that leaks out from under the bib and stains his clothes (either that, or his water and saliva splatter on his shirt). For the record, my son is 15 months old and weighs about 25 pounds, which puts him in the 80th percentile for weight. The bib can be easily adjusted around the neckline for small/large children and for this reason I think he can grow into it well and wear it for at least 2 years if not longer! fun design with bright colors, too! He liked looking at the behemoth and pointing to the watermelon slices in his pocket (which he thought looked like pizza!). The silicone is really soft and pliable and the velcro is very strong and sticks well. Love the fact that it's Velcro and not the one with little snaps or holes (they're tough on my arthritic hands). This bib is easy to clean by soaking in hot water, but it can also be washed in the dishwasher (the top rack works best!). However, one of the biggest issues I have with silicone products is water stains. We have very hard water in the city and when I let the silicone air dry it leaves little white marks on it. But it washes out easily! I'd say this is a great $15 bib and should survive those messy childhood years just fine. Although it may be too big for children under one year old. If it's too big, just put it aside... Sooner or later they'll grow LOL! 🤗😅 I deducted a star just because it has holes in the neckline.
