Picked them up after much thought and comparison with other products, and so far I could not be more satisfied. Mind you, it's only been about a week, but my own 25 gallon guppy aquarium is amazingly bright and my plants seem to be doing pretty well. I put some red temple cuts that didn't stay in the substrate of my other tank (thanks to my Corys) to the tank as testers and although they were stuck to the other tank's air intakes for 2 days, even they come alive. high. I have found the aluminum body to get quite hot, possibly because I connected them to the same wall timer, but I hope this doesn't shorten the life of these amazing lamps. In any case, the price for 2 packs was great in my opinion, especially when compared to other options on the market that range from $50 to $150. The hot case is the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars but will probably buy them again if they go bad in the coming months. Definitely recommend these lights for freshwater fish and plants!
