The best thing about this backpack is that it can be folded or worn open on the back. However, there is a downside when it is opened: the handle and the carrying straps for carrying by hand are in an uncomfortable position. I would like to see straps that resemble the straps on a typical duffel bag. Also the internal velcro to hold the backpack together when folded could be a little stronger if not longer. I feel my cat can easily destroy these parts over time when indoors. The rest of the pack is solid, from the mesh windows to the wall material. There are also several useful storage pockets. The bottom of the backpack is softly padded, similar to a normal cat bed.
