Review on Powerful and Reliable Air King 9020 1/6 HP Industrial Grade Wall Mount Fan - 20-Inch, Black by Brooke Watts

This is a heavy duty quality fan. I was hoping to get good airflow on my screened patio. There were no problems with the assembly, except that I had to buy 3 screws separately. What disappointed me the most was the airflow. On a hot Florida day, the fan will run at 3-10 second intervals if I can't get airflow in the direction I'm pointing the fan. This is probably true of any fan used outdoors as well, but I thought the performance of this fan would be great. It seems like the hot outside air combined with the slightest outside breeze, mostly just 2 or 3 mph, just makes my airflow go away. Then early in the morning or early evening when the air is less superheated, the lowest setting is too much airflow when I just need a gentle breeze. This fan works well but is clearly not ideal for my setup. I really need a fan speed controller so I can try to slow the fan down in the morning and evening. I don't think there is anything I can do to compensate for uneven airflow in the heat of the day when I really needed this fan to work well.
