My son sat me down and wanted to read them all as soon as I took them out of the box. The first book was about a city full of monsters, and he loves monsters! We read five of them and towards the end he began to guess and read some of the words. I was so excited. This connection between pictures and words is made! I know how important it is to have two older children and watch them learn to read. They are nicely organized in different levels and colors. Each book is only a few pages long, but that keeps him interested. The illustrations are clear. I would recommend to anyone who wants to teach their child to read!
