Dyson filter needs replacing as the original filter severely restricted airflow but still had over 1200 hours left. Before replacing, I first fixed the airflow issue as per Dyson's recommendations. The air flow was good without a filter, but greatly reduced with it. Decided to replace the filter. Was looking for an OEM replacement and was shocked at the price. I was looking for a replacement filter for the Revain, same price, but there were alternative listings for 1/2 the price. I compared the sizes, set out the features and decided to stop at this brand. The fit was snug, but that was to be expected since the seals were new and not "pinched" like the original. No more airflow problems, works great. Currently we can't imagine spending more money on a filter that fits and works just as well.
