Review on 💾 WD WD3200KSRTL Caviar 320 GB SATA 3.5-Inch Hard Drive: High-performance storage solution by Scott Lavimodiere

When my 250GB hard drive failed I bought this hard drive based on online reviews which convinced me that WD is the hard drive manufacturer worth buying . 7200 rpm is fine for my purposes and the replacement disc was also 7200 rpm. Installation was easy. The hard part was transferring the files (sorting after 5 years of accumulation). Given the price paid I would suggest buying 2 and setting them up in a RAID configuration unless I was retired and just an occasional user. And if I were a businessman who needed exceptional reliability I would buy 3 for a RAID configuration. Very happy with the purchase. My first hard drive in 1981 was 10MB, about the size of a carry-on, and cost $3,800.
