Acceptable Replacement for Original Switch
The original switch in our recently purchased home had a tendency not to turn off the running disposal when pressed -- sometimes requiring several, several pushes. This switch has done pretty good, although not always on the first try -- probably 99% of the time though. I think it may just be something about the overall design of this type of disposal switch.
- Installation to replace an old unit was a breeze
- May require a higher water pressure to activate the garbage disposal
