It is excellent protection for sun damaged hands and hands with thin skin.
I am very happy with this. I love that they have extra protection for the hands (just put it on your wrist). And they stayed up all day with minimal adjustment. They're cool against the skin, you can feel the breeze through them, but they protected me from the sun, scratches and bruises all day.
