I have an old computer that I wanted to bring back to life to use as a Windows 10 system. plus the new SSD that brings the old 3rd Gen Intel system starts, stops and whips screens like no other now. It's not exactly premium storage for something like gaming. This is an old type of DDR3 memory with no error control or ECC. That's why they usually call it UDIMM for unregistered memory. I believe this means there is no parity bit for error checking. I think they say the same thing in a different way. If your system uses UDIMM memory and you don't need it for gaming, this memory is a good choice. But if you buy DDR3, then you probably have an older computer. I'm not sure if this stuff will work on a newer motherboard with DDR4. Probably no.
